Team Science returns to Newcomb Academy on Jan 31. Exciting, age specific, hands-on math and science workshops are taught by aerospace and science professionals for Grades 2 through 8 from 8:30-11:30am. A continental breakfast is also provided. For those participating in our Golf Tournament, stay at Old Ranch Country Club after the golfing for our Circle of Friends dinner. For those not playing golf, join us the evening of June 4 at the country club for a great evening. We will recognize those that have contributed to the Foundation as well as having entertainment, great food, a live and silent auction.

For the upper academy this will take place as part of the normal P.E. curriculum. Students can raise money for the foundation, engage in heart healthy activity, win prizes for participation and earn bonus P.E. credit.

Funds raised in this event will fund the scholarship program for the upper academy.

Students will get P.E. credit and have the opportunity to raise funds for the Foundation. Each student can solicit pledges and win prizes or priviledges for their participation. They see how many laps they can complete in 30 minutes and have a great time in the process. We even have some of the teachers joining in to run and raise money.

Funds raised in this event will pay for the computer lab next year.

Last year's inaugural event was a huge success for both the golfers and the Foundation. This event is limited to 144 golfers and is certain to be sold out so sign up early. The very prestigous, private Old Ranch Country Club is reserved on this day for the exclusive use of the Foundation.

Last year, half of the Foundation's income came from this popular event.
